Pray for Canada! We have seen that this simple act is enough for Christ to transform hearts, lives and circumstances. Join us in praying for our country in the following areas:
- Our Government: Pray that God will guide our politicians and elections, and that the Spirit will be present in all local and national decisions that affect Canada.
- Our Growing Communities: There are few churches to support our rapidly growing cities. Pray for more spiritual workers to bring discipleship to Canada’s diverse urban communities.
- Our People: Canada welcomes immigrants of all backgrounds, and this gives us an unprecedented opportunity to share Jesus’ message. Pray that God will call Christians to reach out to their neighbours to share the Good News.

Prayer Request: Week of July 16, 2023
Seeing your children grow and flourish is the dream of every parent. And the local champions at the Alkebu Centre in Kenya, recognizing this desire, created a Daily Vacation Bible School (DVBS) for local children with the theme “My place as a child in God’s kingdom”. Strategically planned one week before the start of the 2023 academic session, the DVBS helped prepare and inspire the kids before they returned to school. Activities like dance, memory verses, singing, games, crafts, Bible stories, and small group times, encouraged the children to learn and explore the Word of God.
Please pray for the 500 attendees from the local community. Pray for these children, and their parents, as they eagerly learn more about Jesus!
Prayer Request: Week of July 9, 2023
A secret believer named Jang-Mi, in a country hostile to Christianity, knows all too well that owning a Bible is punishable as a political crime against the state, and yet, given the opportunity, she desperately wants a copy. “During prayer, I become so frustrated. I want to recite the Word of God, but I do not have a Bible and I have not memorized enough. My hands are folded, but empty. I so very much want to read the Bible.” The pastor she visited across the border heard the desire of Jang-Mi’s heart, and slipped a hand-sized Bible to her. At that moment, her eyes shone as she held the little Bible.
Please pray for believers like Jang-Mi who are risking everything to receive a Bible.
