Pray for Canada
Pray for Canada! We have seen that this simple act is enough for Christ to transform hearts, lives and circumstances. Join us in praying for our country in the following areas:
- Our Government: Pray that God will guide our politicians and elections, and that the Spirit will be present in all local and national decisions that affect Canada.
- Our Growing Communities: There are few churches to support our rapidly growing cities. Pray for more spiritual workers to bring discipleship to Canada’s diverse urban communities.
- Our People: Canada welcomes immigrants of all backgrounds, and this gives us an unprecedented opportunity to share Jesus’ message. Pray that God will call Christians to reach out to their neighbours to share the Good News.

Prayer Request: Week of October 22, 2023
Su is a 14-year-old boy in China, attending a Children’ Bible study which operates quietly in his small town. Last week it was his turn to take home one of the precious few Bibles that they all share. He is so captivated by the stories that he reads them aloud to his parents and grandparents. Today, with tears in his eyes, Su gave the Bible back to the group leader. “When will I be able to read it again?” he asks anxiously.
Please pray for this young heart that is so eager to hear and share the Word of God!
Prayer Request: Week of October 15, 2023
In China, Su was so captivated by what he read in his borrowed Bible that he eagerly shared many of the stories out loud with his and grandparents. His parents declared, “These words brought about a great change in our family. Words about how God loves us so much that He sent His Son to die for our sins! All He asks is that we believe! It has brought us together to hear about God’s great love. We are eager to learn more.”
Please pray for Su and his family, that the words they read and hear will take hold in their hearts!
