Quantumrun.com website recently published a look at Canada in 2030. Among other things, public infrastructure, such as roads and highways, will begin costing cities more money to maintain and repair between 2030 to 2035, due to extreme weather. As well, all Canadians will gain access to high-speed gigabit-level internet, including rural, northern, and aboriginal communities. Coal power is officially phased out of the national energy supply. Canadians born this year are forecasted to live four years longer than the previous generation due to improvements in healthcare and family planning.

One of the mysteries of the Bible is that authors who wrote centuries before Jesus’ coming got his life completely right, down to the smallest details. In the first Spirit-filled message, on the day of Pentecost, Peter says this about King David, who lived a thousand years before the Messiah arrived, in Acts 2:31: “Seeing what was to come, he spoke of the resurrection of the Messiah, that he was not abandoned to the realm of the dead, nor did his body see decay.” It is a staggering thought that David predicted Jesus’ death and resurrection. Peter was referring to Psalm 16:10 where David writes, about the coming Messiah, “because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead, nor will you let your faithful one see decay.” God had the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ planned before sin entered into the world, and through sin, death. God did not abandon Jesus – when the time was right, He called out, as Jesus did for Lazarus, “come forth.” Jesus rose, death was dead, resurrection power available now for His followers. God planned it all – out of love for you.
