Four years ago in Ethiopia, Geda became a Christian, and for all of that time he had waited for a Bible. Then 10 boxes of Oromo Bibles were received at his church in the Oromia Region! Geda sits on a bench in the church, holding his precious new Bible in his hands. “The Bible helps me to grow spiritually,” Geda says. He explains that he cannot live without a Bible to grow his faith and share it with others. He loves hearing the Word preached by his pastor, but being able to reference the Bible and read for himself what the pastor is reading is so important. And being able to reflect on this again at home is priceless.
